Welcome to the documentation for the Universal Hospitality Domain Model (UHDM).

UHDM is an open, exploratory project to define a universal domain model for hospitality systems — a common conceptual language.

In simple terms

The UHDM is a common way of describing things like reservations, guests, bills, and how they all interrelate, so that hospitality providers can communicate using a common language, instead of 're-inventing the wheel' every time they need to develop a new API.

The project is evolving in public. This site will grow as new models, diagrams, and reference materials are published.
